All praise and glory be to God alone!! The gift of the miracle is:
Even when in the future there may be super-computers working in grid at 100 million times the present maximum speeds, it would take manifold ** more than 68 billion years to duplicate it (about 5 times longer than the age of universe).
** The 68 billion year time (based on checking for #s up to 225 would multiply manifold if one extends the computation beyond 225 to say 450 (as 4 of the #s in the challenge are more than 225); an observation is that when one increases the cut-off numbers from 100 to 225, the time required increases to about 85,000 fold.
Further, even the above does not consider the Quran’s literary excellence, consistent statements, advocating righteousness, focus on submission to God Alone, narrations of historical facts and the like. Of course, this is over and above the fact that Chapter 42 has another math miracle in its second verse – ‘A.S.Q., and the various letters and verses also participate in numerous other Math Miracles of key words as can be seen in Appendices 1,2,24,26 here.
Quran Mathematical Challenge To The Disbelievers
[2:23] If you have any doubt regarding what we revealed to our servant,* then produce one sura like these, and call upon your own witnesses against GOD, if you are truthful.
*2:23-24 The Quran’s miraculous mathematical code provides numerous proofs as it spells out the name “Rashad Khalifa” as God’s servant mentioned here. Some literary giants, including Al-Mutanabby and Taha Hussein, have answered the literary challenge, but they had no awareness of the Quran’s mathematical composition. It is the Quran’s mathematical code, revealed through God’s Messenger of the Covenant, Rashad Khalifa, that is the real challenge ―for it can never be imitated. See Appendices 1, 2, 24, & 26 for the detailed proofs.
[11:1] A.L.R. This is a scripture whose verses have been perfected, then elucidated.* It comes from a Most Wise, Most Cognizant.
*11:1 Our generation is fortunate to witness two awesome phenomena in the Quran: (1) an extraordinary mathematical code (Appendix 1), and (2) a literary miracle of incredible dimensions. If humans attempt to write a mathematically structured work, the numerical manipulations will adversely affect the literary quality. The Quran sets the standard for literary excellence.
Above verses from the Authorized English Version of the Quran by Rashad Khalifa, Ph.D. – one may download from here:
As such one need not necessarily have to verify the Arabic text to physically verify the H & M initials tabulated alongside the 2008 challenge.
However one may have the Arabic text verified: The H-M initialed Suras with color-highlighted H & M can be downloaded from http://thehidden19.googlepages.com/HM-color-coded.zip
or viewed online
(The Arabic text is displayed correctly in Internet Explorer, but not in Firefox)
(The above is based on pages 122 to 147 from “Quran: Visual Presentation of the Miracle” – Rashad Khalifa, Ph.D., 1982″.)
If the super-computers in grid operating at 100 million times faster than present speeds (or more than 1.5 billion times faster than proposed Saudi university-cum-IBM supercomputer) would take 68 billion years (about 5 times longer than the age of the universe!!
To reach numbers up to 225 whereas there are 4 M related numbers which are greater than 225, and one exactly 225. Thus, the computers would have to carry out another cycle of processing to go to number 450 to be able to only touch the mathematical aspect of a small part of the Quran’s mathematical 19-based code.
The 68 billion year time (based on checking for #s up to 225 would multiply manifold if one extends the computation beyond 225 to say 450 (as 4 of the #s in the challenge are more than 225); an observation is that when one increases the cut-off numbers from 100 to 225, the time required increases to about 85,000 fold.
*P.N.: The italics part in this document is the answer to the challenge from Arabic Quran.
The H.M. Count table solves the following challenge.
Challenge | Solution inArabic Quran | ||||||
Row | Col1 | Col2 | Sura | Letter Count ”H” | Letter Count “M” |
Digits addition of H+M | Total count of H+M |
A | A1 | A2 | 40 | 64 | 380 | 21 | 444 |
B | B1 | B2 | 41 | 48 | 276 | 27 | 324 |
C | C1 | C2 | 42 | 53 | 300 | 11 | 353 |
D | D1 | D2 | 43 | 44 | 324 | 17 | 368 |
E | E1 | E2 | 44 | 16 | 150 | 13 | 166 |
F | F1 | F2 | 45 | 31 | 200 | 6 | 231 |
G | G1 | G2 | 46 | 36 | 225 | 18 | 261 |
292 | 1855 | 113 | 2147(19×113) |
Now, find values for the table elements A1,A2,B1,B2 … G1,G2 so that;
Column (5) refers to Letter Count “H” and Column (6) refers to Letter Count “M” in the above table.
The sum of the digits of column (5) and (6) for rows A,B,C = 21+27+11= 59.
The sum of the digits of column (5) and (6) for rows D,E,F,G = 17+13+6+18= 54.
The sum of the digits of column (5) and (6) for rows B,C,D = 27+11+17= 55.
The sum of the digits of column (5) and (6) for rows A,E,F,G = 21+13+6+18= 58.
THE CONDITIONS
The sum of the numbers in rows A,B,C is a multiple of 19.
In the Arabic Quran, the sum comes to 1121=19×59 – compare with (1) above.
The sum of the numbers in rows D,E,F,G is also a multiple of 19.
In the Arabic Quran, the sum comes to 1024=19×54 – compare with (2) above.
The sum of the numbers in rows B,C,D is a multiple of 19.
In the Arabic Quran, the sum comes to 1045=19×55 – compare with (3) above.
The sum of the numbers in rows A,E,F,G is also a multiple of 19.
In the Arabic Quran, the sum comes to 1102=19×58 – compare with (4) above.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
In each of the above steps, take the multiplier and write it down.
E.g., if rows A,B and C add to 190 = 19×10. You would write down 10.
The sum of all the digits in rows A,B and C must add up to this multiplier, in this case 10.
The same thing must hold true for all 4 steps above. The multiplier of the sum of the numbers must be the same as the sum of the digits of the individual numbers.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN SOLVING THIS PUZZLE
According to the laws of statistics, this what is involved.
The way to look at it is assume that it is a 2 digit solution and work on that (100). When it does not work out and no matching result found, switch to a 3 digit solution (1000).
(2147/14) = approx 150.
150 through 14 nested loops (150**14)=(1.5 x 10**2)**14
56 digit additions and 28 number additions for each = 84.
Algorithm: 150**14 x 84
Divide by number of seconds in a year (60*60*24*365.25)=3.15*(10**7)
Divide by speed of computer per second (1trillion /second)
A more accurate algorithm would be:
1000**14 x 112 /(3.15*(10**7)/4.3 x 10**13)
(assuming if someone tries with a 3 digit solution to start with), It now becomes 28 numbers + 84 digit calculations because we have 3 digit numbers instead of 2 digit numbers.
In the first case, the time in years is: 1.805 x 10^ 11 or 180 billion years
In the second case, the time is 8.255 x 10^22, or 82.55 billion trillion years
On the very last loop the iteration will only go to 225, not 1000 so it is 20.5 billion trillion.
HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE?
We then can compute the time taken to do this as, Let us assume that we are using the Fastest Grid-Computing (Distributed Systems) described by Wikipedia below:
“Folding@home is the most powerful distributed computing cluster in the world, according to Guinness, and one of the world’s largest distributed computing projects. The goal of the project is “to understand protein folding, misfolding, and related diseases.”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F@H
Processing speed = 3.48 pFLOPS (3.48 x 1015 = 3,480,000,000,000,000 floating point operations per second) i.e., 3,000 trillion operations per second.
The computation speed has been increased by 10 million times during the last 15-20 years.
If we assume the computation speed to be 100 million times faster than the present speed (or more than 1.5 billion times faster than the proposed Saudi univ.-cum-IBM supercomputer. (i.e., 3000 trillion x 100 million operations per second, then the computer would take 20,500,000,000,000,000,000,000 years @
1 trillion op/sec)
(divided by 300 billion op/sec as 1 trillion x 300 billion = 3000 trillion x 100million )
